8 Months and Crawling...

... and swinging! Finally the weather is somewhat consistently warm. It's been nice to get out more--stroller rides, trips to the park, swinging, exploring in the grass. This was the longest winter of my life! Despite his sober appearance here, he really does love the swing, which we attached to one of our trees. This was his first time swinging.

Of course the tongue makes an appearance.

More swing action.

If it wasn't for the dog, I'm not sure Fisher would have started crawling yet. The first thing he went after was Neko's bed and toys. I'm not sure Neko is thrilled about Fisher's interest in him.

First he went after Neko's kong, and then his bone (which we promptly moved outside). Neko is bewildered here.

A big grin before he takes off crawling. He's still just doing the army crawl, but he gets around just fine. I think he'll be crawling with his tummy off the floor by the end of the week.

He likes to stand and play on the ottoman. I love to see his little buns in those jeans.

Check out his cool summer hat from Nana.

Fisher loves to sit on Daddy's shoulders.

Derek's father, step mother, step brother, and grandparents came up last weekend. Here's a 4 generation shot.

The whole crew on the beach in Algoma.

His first time on the train at Bay Beach Amusement Park.

The Witzenburg's stopped in to see Fisher on their way home from Canada.

Just up from a long nap and enjoying snack time.

7 Months and Counting...

Such a charmer. I think he's happy that spring has arrived! It's been a long winter here. Fisher is getting bigger and cuter by the day: he's 30.5 inches long and weighs 23 lbs. We started baby swim classes at the Y, and Fisher is the youngest but largest baby in attendance. (I kept wondering why the other boy in the class, who was smaller than Fisher, was walking around and Fisher can't quite crawl yet...the kid was 12 months old).
Check out the push-up. Building up strength for crawling.
He's doing a lot more of this side-posing action. Ready for the beach!

Nana and Papa came for a visit last weekend, and Fisher loved it. I think he knew they would spoil him because he put on the charm.

It was a busy weekend for Fisher, especially since he was sick. He was a trooper though.

Sporting his new flaming sweatshirt from Nana.

Fun in a box.

Daddy attacks!

Goofing around.

Loving the water.

Some fun games at swim class.

I just loved the look on his face here.

Surfing.
