It's been a while since I posted so this will be a long one! We headed to Iowa 3 weeks ago to visit family and last weekend we took a mini holiday to Chicago. It's definitely getting easier to travel with Fisher, though more difficult for me as I'm starting to get pretty big. I'm 20 weeks along now and I look like I did when I was 25 weeks along with Fisher!

We were able to catch up with Adam, Teresa, and Joanna (shown here with Fisher) at a park in Iowa City.

Helping out with mulch.

He loves tossing pillows on Neko's bed and lying there.

Getting our dance on at a wedding we attended in Iowa City.

This kid was more interested in going to sleep than dancing.

The family.

Fisher and his Papa on the tractor. This kid is all about Papa--3 weeks later and he still wakes up in the morning asking for Papa! I'm not sure what kind of spell my dad has on him, but it's working. He's never been so attached to anyone (aside from me and Derek).

We attended grandpa Bob's 60th birthday reception, where we also got to see the great grandparents.

Fisher's never had so many cookies.

Saying good-bye to grammy Brenda.

And good-bye to Nana.

Some wild hair the morning after we returned.

Mine and Fisher's first trip to Wrigley Stadium where we took in a ball game. It happened to fall right during his naptime, but he did his best to hang on (hard not to with all the noise and people).

His first of several Chicago hot dogs that weekend. This prompted him to pick up yet another word: "Hot Dog", which he loudly exclaimed when asked what he wanted for lunch and for dinner the next day. When we returned home we asked him what was his favorite thing to do in Chicago and he said "hot dog"!

Trying to cuddle up for a nap during the Cubs game. He sure liked clapping--even when he sucked his thumb and lay down here he would clap with the tips of his fingers.

We had to go out for some deep dish pizza. It was an hour wait and Derek spent that whole time trying to keep Fisher from chasing the pigeons into the streets.

Sat. morning we went to the Field Museum to meet Sue (the world's largest and most complete Tyrannosauras Rex skeleton). It was a great museum.

Just climbing on a thigh bone.

He was pretty much in awe.

After the museum we walked to Buckingham Fountain. Fisher took off running straight for it.

Then we stopped to check out the public art in Millenium Park.

More art fun.

Checking out the river and waiting for Kristina and Ryan to get off the boat so we could go have lunch. After lunch we walked to Navy Pier, but didn't take any photos as Fisher slept the whole time. Derek and I enjoyed some live music and funnel cake.

After Derek, Hans, and I ate some Thai food for dinner we had to make a stop to get Fisher a hot dog (he wouldn't touch the Thai food and just kept chanting hot dog. I figure it's vacation and all so we stopped). Oh, and this just might be the cutest pic so far--he's finally starting to "smile for the camera". I've never seen such a cheesy grin, but hey, he's in hot dog heaven.

After dinner we went to the top of the Hancock building.

I'm glad we waited to go at night. Fisher has no fear of heights as he just marched right up to the glass and started pounding away!

Hans took him to wash some windows. Can you believe their hair isn't blowing?

Running wild through the streets at night (back to the hotel and straight to bed). We were exhausted!

Recovering after the trip with his good buddy Neko.
