First Week Home

Derek reading Fisher some fascinating finance-related article. At least his eyes are open!
Surrounded by flowers from Nana and Papa Hickman, Grandma and Grandpa Conklin, Anne and Patrick, co-workers, and neighbors.

Me holding my heart.

Nana and Papa Hickman and Aunt Carrie came up for Fisher's first weekend home.

Fisher with Papa Hickman

We've discovered Fisher's favorite napping position. You can tell Derek would rather hold his son than take a shower.

Holding my little dude on my birthday--I couldn't imagine a better gift. I may look tired (and I am), but I feel great. Fisher is readying himself for more milk.

Notice all the various outfits he's in--we don't quite have diapering down yet. Some days he'll go through 4 outfits. I can't believe how much meatier his hands have become in just one week.

Fisher checking out Neko. We're amazed at how great Neko is with Fisher--everytime Fisher makes a noise he runs to check on him. He's mellowed out completely and doesn't seemed phased one bit with fewer walks.

Don't feel bad about the 4 outfits. We still go through 2, sometimes more, most days and he's 8 months!
