Okay, this may be the cutest picture of a baby ever--at the very least it's the cutest pic of Fisher.
Check it out--this is the very first time he sat up all by himself! He just started to sit unaided Sunday night, and he was quite pleased with himself. You could tell he was rather surprised.
We started Fisher on solids! Today was day 4 of rice cereal/milk mix and he's still not into it. After a few more days I'm going to try sweet potatoes instead.
Our friends Kent and Tiffany came up from Iowa City with their daughter Estelle last weekend. We definitely need to get Fisher out around more kids--Estelle was as sweet as can be and Fisher kept crying when she came close! He did start to warm up to her hugs on day 2.

Fisher is sooooo dang cute! The scrumptious grin is my favorite picture. Sitting up already? Look out, crawling and walking will be soon! We love and miss you all.
